On the PowerLED 700, the ambient light module is a set of three LEDs that are intended for an easy viewing of and around the operating fields. There is a potential failure in the fixation of the module which may lead to the detachment of the ambient light module but remained attached with its wire. Small broken plastics tab may fall unnoticed by the surgical team as a result of the fixation being defective.
Verify that the ambient light module is correctly fixed. Check that there is no gap between the ambient light module and the cupola housing and there is no broken tabs.
